The most recent title, <a href="https://www.cgmagonline.com/review/game/ace-combat-7-skies-unknown-ps4-review/"><em>Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown</em></a>, which came out in 2019, successfully brought the series to modern platforms after a 12-year period with no mainline titles, selling a <a href="https://www.bandainamcoent.com/news/ace-combat-7-skies-unknown-has-reached-7-million-units-worldwide">franchise record of more than 7 million copies</a> in the process. </p>
